Mike Walder - CISSP President, Secure Technology Hawaii, Inc.
Mike provides strategic direction and sales, business management, project management and systems engineering. Mike graduated from Oregon State University with a BSEE with high honors and has taken many graduate courses in Engineering Management and Advanced Signal Processing from Santa Clara University and UCLA.
Mike started his technical career in 1984 as a Systems Engineer for GTE Government Systems in the heart of Silicon Valley where he designed and developed electronic warfare, electronic surveillance, and threat simulation systems to help protect our country's armed forces from very real electronic threats.
Mike moved to Hawaii in 1989 and worked on several information systems consulting and networking projects before forming STHI in 1993. Mike's drive for excellence in high technology in Hawaii has resulted in building the island's best security and disaster recovery engineering team and a remarkable track record in the selection of the best technologies and solutions long before they are the status quo. This allows STHI to gain the respect of the best network and information security vendors in the world as they all approach us first to represent them. Mike enjoys bike riding, weight lifting, and photography and he actively supports local youth sports coaching teams for many basketball, baseball, and flag football leagues and traveling teams/ clubs.
