Come join us and participate in the first technology-focused “eCommerce from A-Z” mini-conference and expo! The Honolulu chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) is proud to be organizing Hawaii’s first eCommerce mini-conference and expo with support from the State of Hawaii’s High Technology Development Corporation (HTDC). Our one-day program seeks to provide education, insight, and guidance to Hawaii’s business community on the wide breath of topics encompassing the conducting of electronic commerce. The conference portion is organized into three tracks that address business owners and employees at varying levels of expertise. Track A Neophytes:Start-ups, people interested in learning how to do business on the Internet, eCommerce basics (terms and definitions, customer experience, business requirements, available technology, security,banking/e-payment processing, and more). Track B Intermediate:Small to mid-sized organizations that already have a basic Internet presence and want to learn to include more eCommerce functionality on their Web sites including e‑Customer Service, e‑Payments,customer portals, and search engine optimization. Track C Advanced:Large organizations or businesses that already have Internet presence but wish to expand their reach into new markets, deliver differentiated services, or improve integration with internal systems and business processes. Also may look at enterprise issues such as security, risk assessment, privacy and confidentiality, and business continuity. Track B Intermediate:Small to mid-sized organizations that already have a basic Internet presence and want to learn to include more eCommerce functionality on their Web sites including e‑Customer Service, e‑Payments,customer portals, and search engine optimization.
